Diablo 4 - Content Design

As a content designer on Diablo 4, my responsibilities include:

  • Writing and implementing side quests

    • Responsible for gameplay design and implementation for individual quests

    • Working with game directors in a writers room setting to design quests for the main campaign

    • Managing animation, prop art and vfx requests

    • Coordinating with level designers for dungeon designs and layouts

  • Designing and implementing event content in the open world

    • Designing moment to moment gameplay for multiplayer open world encounters

    • Creating environmental story beats

  • Dialogue for generic npcs and side quest characters

  • Established standards and best practices for campaign quests in instanced zones

While I can’t point to any specific content until release, I’m happy to talk about my process or respond to quest or gameplay design questionnaires or tests.
